Angered Teater was founded in 1978 and was until 1996 part of the Gothenburg City Theatre. Today, the theatre is financed by the municipality of Gothenburg.The main theme in the artistic direction is to produce high-quality contemporary performing arts with an international and local character. The theatre’s artistic exploration moves both in the immediate environment and outside it and the theatre strive to constantly surprise and challenge their audience.
