Excursion playground in Jubileumsparken

The creative and whimsical play sculptures are meant to encourage fast-paced as well as quiet play and relaxation. Here you can climb, balance, swing, and slide, but also relax, spy or hide. For more quiet activities, there are sound sculptures, sand and water play, as well as sculptures, ditches and plantings that collect or channel rainwater.The playground is nestled in lush greenery that provides shelter from the elements, and all around are lawns of low-growing herbs and grasses – perfect to sit down and eat your picnic on!

Next to the playground is also a mini golf course (open April-October), with adventurous courses and an ice cream café.The excursion playground, which was created in collaboration with the artists Daniel Götesson “EKTA”, Patrik Bengtsson and New Order Arkitektur, is located in Jubileumsparken in Frihamnen.Jubileumsparken is built in conjunction with Gothenburg’s 400th anniversary, and the park is a result of the citizens of Gothenburg’s wishes for more green areas in the city, and to get closer to the water .
