In the summer of 2023, a new harbour bath opened in the park Jubileumsparken. Here, you can find three pools for swimming, jumping and diving, as well as lovely places for hanging out.Two of the pools are filled with seawater from the salt channel in the Göta River, and the third pool with freshwater that is naturally purified through a filter bed on land.Next to the harbour bath, there are two buildings with changing rooms, showers, and toilets, which are open during the same hours as the pools.The swimmings pools are free to visit and accessible to everyone. More information, such as the opening hours, can be found here.The harbour bath is part of Gothenburg’s 400th anniversary and has been built as a response to Gothenburgers’ desire to get closer to the water.
